Do you listen to music, watch videos, or keep sports scores constantly refreshing while you work at your desk, or when you're sitting on your flight? This contraption might be for you.

The iZel is a stand for iPhones, iPods, and most cell phone devices. It adjusts to allow you to rest your electronic device in either portrait or landscape for comfortable viewing at an angle without the need to have to set it against your monitor or to constantly hold it to see what's on the screen.

It is very portable and when you're done, it can adjust to be very flat, which allows you to fit it inside a briefcase, backpack, or carry-on luggage.

It does its job very well, though I have a few quirks. When adjusting it, you have to use (or at least I do, in my particular case) a little bit of force to un-pop the pins. It's not hard, but I constantly worry if I am going to break it in doing so. This is a mostly plastic stand, so it's not impossible to break if you use too much force. With that being said, it actually seems like it's very durable, and it could just be the don't-want-to-break-a-new-product jitters.

One flaw for me is that you cannot charge your iPhone (or iPod Touch) if you want to use this stand in portrait mode. There is simply not enough room underneath to fit the charging cable. It's not a deal breaker, but keep that in mind. You can still use this stand in landscape mode while charging, however.

Overall, it does its job very well, coupled with its portability and stylish looks, I am satisfied with my purchase. For some, the price might seem like a bit of a stretch given that it's mostly plastic and rubber, but you tend to forget about that once you actually have the product in your hand and start making use of it.
